KY3: Efforts to cut lead exposure will add costs to some home remodeling projects

Contact KY3's Cara Restelli reported on the March 11 newscast that a new federal law aimed at reducing the risk of lead poisoning in children will also make your home remodeling projects more expensive.  While some say the law is necessary for your health and safety, others say it couldn't have come at a worse time.

The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield is offering the EPA-mandated lead certification training classes to its members and others in the remodeling industry. HBA remodelor Adrian Rhoads (Rhoads Design & Construction) and HBA builder Trent Cowherd (Cowherd Construction Company, Inc.) are interviewed for the story.
